The English-speaking Lodge of Peace and Harmony based in Lagoa donated “much-needed” baby scales and height measuring equipment to the town’s Centro de Saúde (health centre). This will enable the health unit to accurately assess new babies’ weight and height.
This follows on from previous donations of sphygmomanometers (blood pressure metre) and optical equipment to help residents get better local healthcare.
