THOUSANDS OF comic book images will be on display at the fourth international comic book festival in Beja.
The festival runs until May 25 ,with the bulk of the exhibition being on show at Casa da Cultura.
More than 80 graphic novel authors from all over the world will be displaying their work during the festival, including artists from Brazil, the UK, Germany, France and Portugal.
The festival will be opening tomorrow (Saturday, May 10) at 3pm and visitors will be able to attend an autograph session between 5.15pm and 6.15pm.
Internationally renowned graphic artist Dave McKean will be at the session and visitors will have the opportunity to meet him and receive an autograph.
Various exhibitions, readings, parties, competitions and film screenings make up the international festival, with the majority of events being free to participate in or enter.
