Sagres’ Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel has announced that it has taken over the four-star villa resort previously known as Monte da Quinta Club in Almancil’s Quinta do Lago.
A soft-opening of the resort, now renamed ‘Martinhal Quinta Family Resort’, was held on June 1, signifying the “first step in the Martinhal expansion” beyond its original resort in Sagres.
Martinhal guarantees the new resort “will continue to be the exclusive four-star private collection of independently owned luxury villas that Monte da Quinta Club was”.
However, a few new “quality facilities” will be added, including a pool hangout area, a bar with an ice cream shop, a games room and a convenience store.
Further renovations are due in the winter.
