Professors Sidney Holt and Daniel Pauly will be giving lectures, in English, on the management of global living marine resources on January 28 and 29.
The lectures will be at the University of the Algarve in Faro, with Professor Holt examining the case of the great whales on January 28 from 2pm then looking at marine fish in general on January 29 from 10am.
Professor Pauly will be talking about the impact of global fisheries and global warming on marine ecosystems also on January 29 from 11am. Entrance to the lectures is free.
