Ricardo Santos maintained his No1 ranking on the PGA European Challenger Tour with a joint 16th place finish at the Ecco Tour Championships in Denmark.
Crucially the Vale do Lobo pro was the only Portuguese to survive the bad weather and the cut to stay ahead of Englishman and closest challenger Jamie Maul.
The tournament was won by comeback kid Daniel Denison, who has managed to recover from breaking both legs in a 2007 car accident and is now poised in second place overall.
