President Marcelo has revealed today that he means to personally ‘decorate’ President Zelenskyy with the Grande-Colar da Liberdade (an honour reserved for heads of State). This will require a visit to Kyiv “as soon as possible”, he admits. Up till now, Marcelo has not travelled to Ukraine, explaining that it was only something he would do when the government believed it was necessary.
