President Marcelo is due to visit Brazil early next month in order to reopen the Museum of the Portuguese language. Reports this morning say he is visiting on the invitation of Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro who is experiencing ‘levels of popularity’ so dismal that there have been and continue to be demonstrations throughout the country demanding his impeachment. Aside from his meeting with Mr Bolsonaro in Brasilia, President Marcelo is scheduled to meet with former Brazilian presidents Lula da Silvam, Michel Temer and Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
