Loulé’s Mar Shopping Algarve and Guia’s Zoomarine theme park are joining forces to raise environmental awareness this month.
The shopping centre will welcome members of Zoomarine’s education department on August 14 and 15 and 21 and 22 for a series of interactive workshops and other initiatives which aim to highlight the importance of protecting the environment.
Activities will be held between 9.30am and 12 noon and are free. Families will be able to test their knowledge about the environment by spinning a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ or use their hands to make stories out of natural materials.
Said Mar Shopping Algarve manager Ana Antunes, “it is a privilege to host this initiative in partnership with Zoomarine.
“The event fits in with our sustainability policy which aims to inspire people to lead more sustainable lives which protect the planet. It is our pleasure to contribute so that a larger number of families have access to these kinds of events and, most of all, experience something that will have a positive impact on how they interact with the environment,” Antunes added.
