Several improvements were carried out
Vila Real de Santo António Council has announced the completion of renovations at the Motorhome Service Area at Manta Rota beach.
In a statement to the press, the local authority said the works involved improving “comfort conditions” and updating the signposts and information provided to users.
The service area’s image has also received a makeover with the creation of a new logo.
This new logo has been added to the new signposts, which are available in several languages to “facilitate information and communication with users, who are predominantly foreign.”
Improvements to the park also include the introduction of new payment methods, such as credit cards and MBWay, at the automatic payment terminals.
The same redevelopment operation will now be carried out at the Motorhome Service Area in Vila Real de Santo António (near the town walls) at the beginning of November, the council says.
“All of these investments contribute to the improvement of tourist services offered by the municipality of VRSA, as the Algarve region is the most sought-after destination for motorhome enthusiasts in Portugal during the winter months,” it adds.
The local authority also stresses that the Manta Rota Motorhome Service Area has “consistently reached maximum occupancy levels throughout its operating period, reflecting its privileged location by the sea, its safety, and the services provided.”
