PJ police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating near the Portimão breakwater on Wednesday (June 24).
The man is believed to be have been aged between 40 and 50 and had not yet been identified by authorities by the end of yesterday, reports Correio da Manhã tabloid. It adds the man had injuries to the side of his head.
The body was recovered by the Ferragudo lifeboat with the assistance of maritime police and taken by firefighters to the town’s legal medicine hospital.
