A 74-year-old man with a huge private arsenal in his Salir home was arrested by GNR police on Monday (November 28).
The weapons stash included 19 firearms (shotguns and rifles), over 3,000 cartridges, swords and equipment that could be used to create further ammunition.
The man, now due to be heard in Loulé Court, has been under investigation for alleged threats made over a land dispute, said GNR police.
