A 53-year-old man suspected of sexually abusing his own daughter in their house in Mexilhoeira Grande (Portimão) has been arrested by PJ criminal police.
The abuse reportedly started in 2014 when his daughter was just eight years old and continued for four years, happening when the two were “alone, away from other family members,” PJ said in a statement.
The man was due to appear before a judge as the Resident went to press.
