A 27-year-old man died in an accident at work in the wood processing factory Pellets Power, in Torrão, county of Alcácer do Sal, on Tuesday. According to the District Command for Rescue Operations (CDOS) from Setúbal, the worker, residing in Alcácer do Sal, was caught by one of the chain conveyors that transport timber.
The worker’s body was taken to the morgue of the Alentejo Regional Hospital in Santiago de Cacém.
