A 59-year-old Spanish man died after being found by police strapped to the helm of a boat that was drifting on the Guadiana River, just off the shore of Alcoutim on Thursday (February 6).
According to the GNR, the man was found at 7.30pm and attempts by the emergency teams to resuscitate him failed, with the man dying an hour-and-a-half later.
