A man fell around five metres this morning after climbing a metallic structure inside the arrivals area of Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport.
PSP police were called when witnesses spotted the man climbing the structure “for no apparent reason”, reports Correio da Manhã. The tabloid adds that the man appeared to be “mentally altered”.
The man is reported to have fallen after having accepted climbing down the structure.
An INEM medical team was called and stabilised the man before taking him to Santa Maria Hospital.
His health condition is unknown.
