A 75-year-old Swiss man died on Saturday after the electric golf buggy he was travelling in crashed on a private plot of land in Mealha, Tavira.
The accident happened at around 5.20pm and saw several INEM emergency services dispatched to the scene, including a helicopter.
Also travelling in the buggy was a 71-year-old Portuguese woman, who sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Faro Hospital.
