A man died after falling around 25 metres from a cliff while fishing above Alfamar beach in Albufeira on Sunday morning, the national maritime authority (AMN) confirmed.
Reports Correio da Manhã tabloid, the man was a foreigner and in his 70s.
The man’s death was declared at the scene and his body was taken to Portimão’s legal medicine institute.
