Man caught on CCTV robbing Olhão petrol station at knifepoint

Police are hunting for a man who was caught on CCTV cameras robbing a petrol station in Olhão at knifepoint on Tuesday night.

The man used a knife to threaten the employee into handing over around €300, several cigarette packs, a mobile phone and a tablet.

The robbery happened at the Cepsa petrol station in Pinheiros de Marim at a time when no other employees or customers were at the station.

CCTV footage, published online by Jornal de Notícias, shows the man calmly approaching the woman and using a knife to intimidate her. He wears a hoodie to conceal his face.

The case is being investigated by GNR police.
