A 75-year-old man has been arrested in Portimão for “storing and sharing images and videos of child pornography” online.
According to national tabloid Correio da Manhã, the man’s illegal activities were detected by an international organisation that controls the sharing of pornographic content involving children.
PJ police were informed and traced his location through his computer, where officers found the evidence during a house search.
He has already been heard in court and could face up to two years in jail, the tabloid adds.
