Making your company healthy in 2007

ARE YOU working hard, paying your taxes and coming away with little to show for it at the end of the year? If so, then the one-day business seminar in January 2007 is for you.

Accountant and Tax Adviser Dra. Filomena Ramilo will be presenting her annual seminar: Doing business in Portugal: Advice on how to cope with the Portuguese Tax system using fiscal benefits from the government for 2007.

With the focus on maximising profits and minimising taxes legally, the 2007 fiscal and labour laws will be concisely explained at the English speaking seminar. Dra. Filomena will also describe the best way these laws can be applied to foreign businesses in the Algarve.

The seminar is aimed at those who are looking to start a business in Portugal or for those who have already started, but require clear advice about administration in relation to  important fiscal and labour laws.

The course will cover different ways of setting up a business, the legal operation of the business and how to pay the staff legally, with emphasis on efficiency.

A lawyer will also speak at the seminar about labour contracts.

Dra. Filomena specialises in working with foreign businesses in Portugal with over 50 per cent of her clients based in the Algarve.

After the one-day seminar, Dra. Filomena will stay on until the end of the week to meet attendees individually in order to focus on their particular business concerns.
