A 38-year-old drug dealer, described by the authorities as one of the main cocaine suppliers in the Faro area, was arrested on Saturday by the PSP police.
The man, of foreign nationality, had already been under investigation for six months and was arrested for drug trafficking in Faro. He was caught in the middle of a drug transaction with local narcotic consumers.
Twenty packets of cocaine, a mobile phone, €230 and other items were seized by the PSP during the detention.
The detainee appeared in court last Sunday for interrogation and is currently on remand.
