Madonna has accepted damages from the Mail on Sunday after it published leaked photos of her wedding to Guy Ritchie in 2000.
The British newspaper published the photos in October last year, just days after the singer announced she would be divorcing her film director husband.
An apology has been issued by the paper and they have paid out substantial damages and legal costs, which Madonna has donated to her Raising Malawi Charity. Although the exact settlement figure is undisclosed, Madonna had been seeking over five million pounds in damages.
