Pop queen Madonna managed to secure a seven million dollar donation for her charity Success for Kids from Brazil’s richest man during a five-day visit to the South American country.
Eike Batista, who is worth 7.5 billion dollars, invited the superstar to his estate on the island of Angra Dos Reis on November 14 so they could discuss the project.
Eike asked Madonna during dinner how much she would need to set up the charity’s initial project and offered the huge sum of money which reportedly left the star in tears.
There was speculation that Madonna’s visit to Brazil was to meet her Brazilian boyfriend Jesus Luz’s family but she insisted she was there for her humanitarian work.
