Madonna collapses

Madonna collapsed twice while performing on stage during a concert in Bulgaria.

The 51-year-old singer was performing at Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia as part of her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour when she lost consciousness twice due to exhaustion.

The fitness fanatic first fainted during a rendition of her 1984 hit Holiday and she had to be held up by two backing dancers. The singer, however, carried on but collapsed again during her recent hit Spanish Lesson and ended up in a heap on the floor.

Madonna was said to be very worried backstage but she didn’t let her exhaustion stop her from carrying on with the show and took longer breaks than usual in between songs.

The singer was advised to postpone her next two shows in Israel but she refused to listen to the advice and pressed ahead with her tour dates.
