Madeira starts vaccinating university students against Covid-19

Already focused on vaccinating 12-year-olds in time for the start of the next school year, health authorities in Madeira have begun vaccinating university students, giving them two vaccines to choose from: the one-shot Johnson & Johnson, or two-shot Pfizer. Coordinating nurse Ana Gouveia has explained: “We recommend Johnson for the boys and Pfizer for the girls. But they have a right to choose”. According to DGS recommendations, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is advised for men over the age of 18 and women over the age of 50.
