A competition run by the British regional newspaper the Liverpool Echo has voted “Maddie Alive and Safe” as the winning entry in a dream headline competition.
Liverpool Echo reader Sylvia French submitted the headline which was picked by the team at the newspaper as the winner because it was “succinct but emotive” and “a headline that everyone would want to see.”
Sylvia French won a bottle of champagne and a full sized, framed copy of a front page containing her headline.
