Maddie abduction suspect to be “formally accused of rape in Praia da Rocha” in 2004

The convicted rapist, pedophile and drug trafficker in the frame for the abduction of Madeleine McCann from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz 14 years ago is to be formally accused of the rape of an Irish woman in Praia da Rocha three years previously. At least this is the news being repeated worldwide this week. Suspect Christian Bruckner is currently serving time in jail in Germany where his lawyer Friedich Fulscher has repeatedly said his client is being used as a scapegoat. Regarding this supposed charge for rape in Praia da Rocha in 2004, Mr Fulscher has already said the victim’s description of her attacker having a birthmark on his right buttock ‘discounts’ his client (click here).
