Sir Paul McCartney has said that he condemns the practice of illegally downloading music after saying only a few months ago that he “doesn’t mind” fans obtaining his music for free.
The former Beatle is now singing a different tune and has said: “If you get on a bus, you’ve got to pay, and I think it’s fair you should pay your ticket.”
Earlier Sir Paul had revealed that he found it difficult to grasp the notion of purchasing music online saying: “It’s weird for me. I’m not from that. I’m from going into a shop and buying a 45.”
