“LYRA: Voice & Harp”, an Algarve musical project, is performing on Saturday, March 30 in the Vale do Lobo Auditorium, Almancil, at 8pm.
Ideias do Levante, Lagoa’s cultural association, is presenting the project in partnership with Vale do Lobo Resort.
LYRA features Carla Pontes (soprano) and Helena Madeira (harp), who will perform an “intimate concert by candlelight”, where the “heavenly voice and the softness and beauty of the harp will lead the audience to travel through time”.
Medieval melodies and other traditional music in Portuguese, Irish and Spanish are among the “musical bouquet” being presented by the duo.
Tickets cost €15 for the general public and there is a 50% discount for children under 12 years of age.
