It will be a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand how the Iberian Lynx is being brought back from extinction. Silves’ Centro Nacional de Reprodução de Lince Ibérico is looking for volunteers to work for three or four months on the CCTV system, which will be monitoring the upcoming busy birthing period.
“We are looking for motivated people, with training in natural sciences, who are interested in working voluntarily,” says the centre’s Facebook page.
The programme seeks three or four volunteers, all of whom will be paid a “food subsidy” and receive on-site accommodation.
Applications, with CVs, should be sent to [email protected]
