BRID MURPHY, the wife of Michael Lynn, is set to receive 450,000 euros from the sale of the house in Ireland she owned with her husband.
It was agreed that signatures of hers had been forged by Lynn and she was not responsible for taking out loans in her name and therefore not liable for the debts.
Meanwhile, laws controlling the registration of mortgages within strict deadlines have been proposed by the Law Society in conjunction with the Irish Banking Federation to help prevent fraud by rogue solicitors such as Michael Lynn.
