A lunchtime debate focusing on Portugal’s current situation three years after its government requested a financial bailout will be taking place at the Sheraton Hotel in Albufeira on April 1.
Jill Gallard, the British Ambassador to Portugal, will be the guest of honour of the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) and will share her views on how things are looking for the country.
Coincidentally, Ms Gallard began her job as British Ambassador to Portugal at roughly the same time that the Portuguese government requested the bailout.
The BPCC is now inviting all associates and friends to attend the debate, saying it provides “the perfect opportunity to establish new contacts and strengthen existing ones with the business community in the Algarve”.
If you wish to take part, a booking form which can be found online should be completed and returned to the BPCC before March 28.
Prices range between €35 for BPCC members and €49.20 for non-members.
