With a contemporary, relaxed and clean ambience, this new modern restaurant has been refurbished to the highest standards and now features an open kitchen and large terrace, as well as a separate cocktail bar.
Everything at Luna Diamante, from starters to desserts, passing by the pastas, pizzas, other typical Italian cuisine and even bread is freshly made there. And the wine selection is exquisite – Portuguese and Italian wines have been carefully and individually chosen to match the food on the menu perfectly.
Opening at 2:00pm, they offer a lighter tapas menu until 6:00pm and then switch to the dinner menu, welcoming families, couples and groups every day until 11:00pm.
Mário Sousa, the head chef that runs the restaurant’s kitchen, is a 26 year old Portuguese chef that studied at the Lamego Hospitality School and fell in love with cooking in 2010, during his first internship at the Quinta do Portal, Douro. Prior to leading Luna’s kitchen, he worked with the Porto Bay, Sheraton, NAU and Wild & Co groups.
