The Madrid home of former Portuguese football legend Luís Figo has been looted of around €500,000 in designer watches, cash and jewellery.
Burglars broke into the property late on Tuesday night (November 22) while Figo and his former model wife Helen Svedin and three daughters were away.
They apparently forced their way in through a first-floor terrace door after scaling walls and disabling the property’s alarm system.
Spanish newspaper El País says Figo reported the break-in on Wednesday morning.
An investigation is now underway.
Says the UK’s Mirror, this is the second time Figo’s house has been robbed.
In 2003, three armed men ransacked the property, making off with “several valuables”.
