Low speed chase

A GROUP of boys who stole a golf buggy from a resort near the north Australian city of Darwin sparked a low-speed highway chase down a major highway when two resort employees pursued them in a second buggy.

The chase ended when police arrived and the five boys, all aged between 10 and 16, abandoned the buggy after driving it down the main Stuart Highway.

A 10-year-old boy was caught by police but the others escaped. The stolen buggy was later returned to the resort without any damage.
