Traffic flow in Loulé has been improved with the construction of a new roundabout by the Santo António convent.
The new structure replaces the previous junction connecting Rua Marçal Aboim and Rua Nossa Senhora da Piedade/EN270, one of the busiest intersections used by traffic entering and exiting the city.
All traffic leaving the city and heading west towards Boliqueime or south towards the A22 and Quarteira uses this exit. The roundabout, which cost 70,000 euros to build, will allow for an easier and safer flow of traffic.
