Loulé/Salir medieval guidebook launched

The Loulé/Salir edition of the Algarve’s bilingual guidebook ‘Guia (Re)Descobrir: Algarve Medieval’ was officially launched on September 27 at Loulé castle.
It is the second local guidebook launched so far, following Castro Marim’s.
Brought to life by a team of historians and designers, these books focus on the Algarve’s historic medieval heritage.
It’s a project led by Nerve, Atelier de Design and supported by various local councils.
There is also a special pack available including a t-shirt and a small ‘Medieval’ badge.
An exhibition entitled ‘Loulé e Salir na Rota do Algarve Medieval’ was presented on the same day of the launch, and hopes are that the ‘Algarve medieval route’ can incorporate the whole of the region from the eastern Algarve (Alcoutim) to the west (Aljezur).
