Merrylegs Pet Hotel in Loulé is offering 50% discount on boarding and day-care fees for pets of doctors, nurses, police agents, firefighters and “other service workers who are working to help us all during this time”.
Merrylegs is primarily a dog and cat hotel but can also care for other household pets, including birds, reptiles, mice, guinea pigs and rabbits. It is close to the Loulé train station, just five minutes from Almancil and within easy access of the EN125 and A22.
“We are staying open as we have animals in our care whose owners are unable to return home at this time,” Clare Browne from Merrylegs told the Resident.
“We also have a drain cleaning business that is continuing to operate as this is an essential service. The drain cleaning business is also offering discounts to over 70s and all service workers,” she added.
