Loulé Council has teamed up with football coach training company Sportrail to organise an international online conference entitled ‘Sportrail Football Science’.
The event will be held on March 7, 8, 9, 14 and 15 and will feature a panel of reputed speakers, “known and acknowledged for everything they have developed” so far when it comes to football science, the local council says.
Headlining the list is FC Barcelona’s sports analyst Xavi Reche, who will be providing insight into the world of football science inside of one of the world’s top football clubs. The list of speakers also features Andrea Riboli, physical trainer and assistant professor at the University of Milan; Daniel Memmert, director of the Institute of Exercise Training and Sport Informatics German Sports at the University of Cologne; and Bran van de Vinne, head coach for the under-21 team of Dutch club Willem II.
“Participating in the Sportrail Football Science Conference means you will get live access to the latest research in all fields of football science from top experts. You will also get networking opportunities with other participants during the live chats,” organisers say.
According to Loulé Council, the conference is being organised as part of its sports education plan for 2022 (Plano de Formação Desportiva ‘22).
