Loulé’s Municipal Archaeology Museum will be closing in part between January 22 and March 5 due to maintenance work on the remains of its old medieval building, which has been on show inside since 1995.
According to technicians, the work is needed “urgently” as the ancient building has never been properly cleaned.
Nonetheless, the museum’s technical services division will remain working as usual, as well as its ‘Traditional Kitchen’ and documentation centre.
