Loulé market returns

September 29 marks the return of the Mercadinho de Loulé, which will take place in the Dom Paio Peres Correia square, beside the castle, every Saturday from 10am to 5pm throughout the autumn.

Jointly organised by the Loulé Câmara and the Associação Centro Loulé, the market aims to promote the region’s traditional products, boost traditional trade in Loulé and attract more visitors to the city on Saturdays.

Hoping to add more life to the historical and commercial centre of the city, the market will feature seven themes, which will run until December 1: Traditional Handicraft, Books and Collectors, Arts (September 29, October 20 and November 10), Urban Handicraft and Design, Antiques (October 6, October 27 and November 17), and Reused and Recycled Handicraft and Pleasures and Experiences (October 13, November 3 and November 24).

The final market will take place on December 1, which will combine all the themes. Entrance is free.
