A new summer initiative called ‘Loulé Summer’ is coming to an end this weekend with three days of street entertainment, concerts and DJ sets.
On Friday (August 26), a night parade will be held along the Praça da República and Avenida 25 de Abril. Starting at 9.30pm, it promises to fill the town with “light, colour and joy”.
Hugely popular Portuguese singer Tony Carreira will take to the stage on Saturday at the square near the Duarte Pacheco monument at 9.30pm.
Finally on Sunday, a sunset party with DJ Hugo Tabaco begins at 7.15pm in São Francisco square followed by a concert by Portuguese Soul/R&B group HMB (pictured) at the renovated D.Afonso III square at 10.15pm.
Admission is free for all events.
