Loulé fire

A fire that burnt an area of scrubland and cane plantations in Funchais (Tôr, Loulé) was put out by 62 firefighters on August 2. The blaze started at 6.10pm and fire emergency teams from seven Bombeiros units fought the fire front aided by 14 vehicles and two helicopters (also read story on p2).
