Loulé Christmas fair showcases “mountain traditions”

A Christmas fair that will showcase the “traditions of the Algarvian mountains” will take place this Saturday (December 4) in Loulé between 10am and 5pm.

Entitled ‘Feira da Serra de Natal’, the event will be held outdoors on Avenida José da Costa Mealha and will see vendors selling everything from handicraft to traditional liqueurs and firewaters and the famous Serra do Caldeirão ‘enchidos’ (sausages).

Some of the artists and artisans from the Loulé Design Lab will also be in attendance, showcasing their unique creations which merge “tradition and innovation”.

“The event is an excellent opportunity to buy original Christmas presents whilst also supporting local artisans and producers,” says the local council.

Admission is free.
