Parts of the historic centre of Loulé will be transformed into autumn markets every Saturday during September, October and November, with the first taking place tomorrow (Saturday).
Each market will have a theme, with traditional arts and crafts being the first.
Others including antiques and collectables, urban arts and design and recyclable goods are some of the themes planned for future markets.
The initiative has been designed to promote local and regional produce while boosting trade on each Saturday of the month in the area.
The markets will be taking place between 10am and 5pm on Rua D.Paio Peres Correia and Largo D.Pedro I and there is no admission charge.
