A loose horse on the A1 motorway neaer Gaia this morning caused “some constraints to traffic”, say reports, but mercifully no injuries. The horse appears to have appeared on the highway, close to Nó dos Carvalhos, around 7am. “The animal was captured and immobilised” within an hour, and traffic was ‘circulating with normality’ by 8.45. GNR agents are now “trying to discover who owns the animal”, which has already been loaded into a horsebox and taken to a place of safety.
