Harbor, an eight-year old coonhound belonging to Jennifer Wert of Boulder, US, has a left ear measuring 31.12 centimetres long and a right ear measuring 34.29 centimetres long, and has set the world record for the longest ears on a living dog, according to World Records Academy.
Harbor was big-eared from birth, according to his owner. His ears were so long that the puppy would trip over them, she recalled.
“When he was nine months old, he was sitting in his crate and his ears were hanging down over his paws,” said Jennifer Wert.
“Harbor’s ears still draw a lot of attention from folks who want to take photos or give them a pull.”
