Bringing together Algarve’s smaller producers with the local market is the aim of Prove, a company dedicated to promoting locally produced food and selling it at a fair price to consumers.
The Prove project helps organic farmers in the region to develop their products and aims to work to inform consumers about the many benefits of consuming locally grown vegetables.
For a taste of locally grown organic food, a box is available for €15 and contains vegetables, fruits and aromatic herbs with a total weight of between eight and nine kilos.
