The BENEF*ACTORS theatre group is sad to announce the recent and sudden passing of Jenny Dackombe, one of our local theatre’s finest members.
Jenny has been an inspiration to all who knew her, a bundle of enthusiastic energy, always ready to help and work on theatrical projects, ready to learn and grow as a performer and forever ready to offer her services in any way possible.
Jenny’s role as a cast member in BENEF*ACTORS November production of Lights Out helped cement a joyful relationship among the cast and production crew. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and worked with her. Our condolences are extended to all her family, friends and fellow thespians.
As a result of Jenny’s passing, BENEF*ACTORS will postpone its productions at the Lagoa Municipal Auditorium and at the Theatre Lethes until early 2011. Both productions will be dedicated to Jenny while the objective of donating all profits to assist the Smyth family will remain. Specific dates will be announced.
