Silves’ municipal library is running a painting exhibition by Algarve artist Inna Hawker until the end of March.
The library is open from 10am to 6.20pm on weekdays and from 2pm to 6.20pm on Saturdays.
Inna is a self-taught artist who was born in Ukraine in 1981 and moved to Portugal over 10 years ago.
In her art, Inna says she shares the visions she receives during meditation and dreams. Her paintings are highly symbolic and many of her art pieces reflect important celestial events.
She also says her paintings are very reflective of the current state of the world and her style changes greatly depending on the personal and universal emotions and information she feels the need to share at the time. Different paintings of hers will attract different people, depending on their emotional state and the difficulties they are facing at that moment in time.
